cujoforlife
The Lions started the game off first for the first time since their win against Legacy. Cujo got the win that needed to put them one step closer to making the playoffs. Now Cujo sets their sights on Centennial . The Spartans are coming off a 4 point loss to the Midlothian Panthers. Now they set their sights on Tyler High to get their second win to keep their playoff hopes alive. This is a must win game for both teams. If Tyler wins, they have clinched their playoff berth. If Burleson loses, they have to win out to make the playoffs. Thoughts?

NODAYSOFFTX
Tyler keeps rolling but it will be alittle tougher. If they can keep rolling what they had last night. It’s gonna be tough for everyone the next few weeks against us. This was the first game I felt all year all though it was against Cleburne, was probably one of best called games in terms of play calling I’ve seen all year. I think we keep it going and get a win. I don’t think this game clinches a spot. But beating Midlo will clinch it.
ToddG
Cen10 is a resilient, well coached team. Midlo had to scratch and claw to get by them…Cujo will too.

I see this game be tough out. I think what our new teams are realizing that they underestimating how fast our team is across the board and it shocks them when they see it. They aren’t used “team speed” they are use to a few players here and there that have speed, and Cleburne didn’t have an answer nor did Joshua for the speed.
MattStepp
Burleson Centennial will be much more athletic than Cleburne or Joshua...they've played a team with big time athletes in Fulshear so I dont believe Tyler will surprise then. Centennial's issue to me is a lack of offensive identity..they pissed away a 26-9 lead at the start of the 4th last night

A lot of these “new” teams used to be in Aledo’s district, and Arlington, and Mansfield districts, as well as south Dallas.. they have played better teams. Cleburne and Joshua just never have much speed to begin with lol! Cen10 does have speed, and are fresh from playing the State champs 3 times in last 2 years.

NODAYSOFFTX
Tyler is a 12 point favorite, I’m in the same belief that we should win by 2 scores or more. It’s like been saying since Joshua. The teams can play but can they sustain it for 4 quarters? I don’t think Cen10 can.

This district isn’t really that strong. if Cujo was a better team they run through this whole district.

I agree, none of these would’ve survived in the district we were in last year outside of HP and i think they would’ve been third, Forney and LV were just too good last year. Lancaster and McKinney north would’ve destroyed Midlo, Cen10, cleburne, and Joshua. We really lucked out by moving over.

Tyler high did get a favorable draw. If they manage to get the 2nd seed, they will have a good shot in the playoffs as well.
