Since football began at Redwater in 1976 through 2023, the dragons have only ten winning seasons. Is that correct?

Were they to small until 1976?

RW got it kinda rough as to where their school sets, talent may live within the district but most (i assume) go to TISD, PG, LE.  Positioned in the grey/no mans land

No doubt!  That’s representative of their youth baseball/softball programs.  Those dads and moms in that youth organization do very well with the kids!

Could be a lot of those athletes don’t play football. I’ve heard this success ND is having us a lot of their stud baseball guys came out last year for the new coach. Didn’t like the 0-10 1-9 guy that was there before. Baseball coach told them to give the new guy a chance. If that’s true it’s certainly paying dividends.

I guess finishing 4th in a normally weak district (in baseball) is their idea of "playing well"!!! The one year they actually won the district in baseball they got beat in the first round by a fourth place team!! Hardly a claim to fame in a sport!!

Not willing to do what is necessary to be competitive. Coach Stine proved that they COULD be competitive with the right program and attitude but there is no way the parents would support a hard nosed AD that actually worked the kids and didn't play favorites now.

Stine's team was very competitive with very average kids. His teams were .500 or better...8-4 was his best team, which doesn't sound great in a lot of places but in RW, it is almost incredible!!

Sorry to get the post off subject...DeKalb by a bunch! But Redwater wins the halftime show!! Great band program!! LOL!!

Can someone explain to me like I'm in the first grade... Why is Redwater the Blue Dragons? First off, everyone knows that while mythical, dragons are green. Second off, it's Redwater... they should be the Octopi... then really get a both parts of the word.
