Newton vs Kountze

Coming off a three game win streak the Newton Eagles face the Kountze Lions. My thoughts are it’s another win for  Newton. What say y’all.

Kountze looks to be improved over previous years but still not nearly enough for the Eagles.  Eagles by 40+

They have one of the best Sophomore running back I’ve ever seen. 
someone said kountze QB is out for the year? Is he okay?

I can't remember the last time Newton lost a district game. They must have district championship trophy's lined up a mile long along with all the other football hardware, have to  pass a bond to build a trophy case.

We currently have the second longest district win streak in the state, all classifications. 2011 was the last district loss.

I had to google if Kountze was a real place. Imagine my surprise when the search resulted in telling me that it was a small town in East Texas.... who da thunk? I thought, with a name like that, it had to be more of the misinformation I've been hearing about.

Is it in the Eastern part of Texas…. yes. Is it East Texas…… eh.

I generally consider anything east of I-35 to be East Texas.

realistically it is considered a part of SETX.  they've improved a lot this year, but Newton is gonna drop 50 on them at least.
