Detroit @ LK

I can’t hold it any longer— I am so upset. Just heard that ESPN called out of covering the Huxley/Dreka game in order to cover this one. Even the Hawthorn/Sexton game is larger than this one. Anyway give me Detroit with 18 point win.

I heard they were keeping the Bugscuffle/ Possum Trot game on ESPN 2.

I challenge anyone from Kildare to post on this. I've met thousands of people from Linden. Yet, nary a one from Kildare.

I think DeKalb has a coach from Kildare, or at least relatives from Kildare.

This was the 1939 season. The article is cut off so I'm not sure why they were passing the hat but if I had to guess it would be for travel to the playoffs maybe.

The following year in 1940 Kildare did not have enough to play 11 man so they played 6 man. Winning their first 6 man game against Karnack 61-6
