When it comes to these young men who have been in the system for many years, they have a body of work. That body of work does not only include just this year. If you pay attention, @WP4L has been talking about Hamilton since 2021. If you have watched him for the last couple of years, there is not doubt about his physical attributes, ability, and POCKET PRESENCE. He has shown this for many years. This does not take away from Rowe, just think there is more upside with Hamilton. In my opinion, the time for that upside is now. Bingo

Not much question there either. Okay, so how are you measuring pocket presence? What metric are you using to say he has good pocket presence? Also, I've said several times now that Hamilton has more upside and should probably play. Did you miss that?

Did you miss that? Did you miss the part where they said they have been watching this kid way before he got to LHS? Just because he has only thrown 2 passes this year, didn't mean it is the only 2 he has EVER thrown. I hope you are being obtuse on purpose. 3 1

I genuinely feel like he understands everything we’re saying and just likes to rebuttal lol which is why I just don’t respond to certain posts of his. JohnnyFootball
Then it should be easy for someone to tell me about this pocket presence metric you’re using, no? I guess I’m expecting too much from the likes of 07 and 84. Oh well. Edited October 29 by JohnnyFootball

If Rowe is our QB, it will be a short playoff run. I can go into my laundry list of reasons, but put simply, he isn't the answer. That said, I'm not going to debate who's better between he and Hamilton. I haven't seen enough of Hamilton to do that. Just as one beautiful deep pass earlier in the season isn't enough to crown him, one bad pass on a 2-pt conversion isn't enough to crucify him either. The reality is though, that is all the tape we have on him, those two passes. We have plenty of tape on Rowe, however. He simply isn't good. So why not give the next man up at least more than 1 play to see what he can actually do? I agree with this post 100%. That's what happened with A&M vs LSU this past weekend. Plus, I wanna see this pocket presence.

Grainraiser
This game with not come down to the play of Rowe. Bey and Boosie are going to get their yards. The question is which teams secondary players are going to step up the most. North Forney running back is better than Longview's secondary back. Longview has a much better run defense than North Forney. Rowe may be a below average passer but he is still a better passer than Bey. There is not going to be big passing numbers in this game but the QB who can score in the passing game will have the advantage. This game should determine the district MVP and Longview should be district champ if they win. If they lose there is a good chance of a three way tie for district. I'm gonna go with Longview because they are playing at home and they have a much better defense. Longview 38 North Forney 34

ANTI
Well anyway.... Huge matchup this week for the Lobos. District title on the line of course but there are other things to consider here. District MVP could be decided Friday between Boosie Washington and Legend Bey. Boosie is sitting 1,363 rushing yards, 249 receiving yards and 24 total TDs. Legend Bey is at 814 through the air on 50-93 passing. Actually has more picks than TDs thrown (4 TDs and 6 Picks). But as mentioned before the story is his legs. He has 1,415 (leads DFW) on the ground with 23 TDs...over 13 yards a carry. Another thing to watch is the HC matchup. Shavers took King down last season when he was HC at McKinney. King looking for revenge.

VonG
Can you still purchase tickets at the gate for Longview games? Since there is no game at Stadium this Friday. I figure I might as well come see my second favorite player in the state of Texas play this Friday. I've been watching Longview play every week on YouTube. I figured this would be a good time to watch him in person. I'm a call this game the Bossie Bash since it's for the district championship.
