Let me explain, these players rely so heavily on Brisbon or Ricky to make plays. It seemed like without them, everyone else stepped up and took it upon themselves to make the plays; rather than waiting for the other two to take over. The coaches rely on those two players not the kids imo. I’ve always said we have talent we just need to spread the ball. I’m sure the other players are/were ready to show what they can do. Let not pretend Chapel was simply amazing! We couldn’t cover to save our life and couldn’t get a rhythm at all on offense for a few weeks! More creative teams will simply shut down Chapel Hill like they did in the state championship! Playing Gainesville vs. Kilgore, Chill, Pine Tree, and Lindale is a littleeeee bit different.
