When are you going to post the cumulative results?

I have the list, I just need the time to go through and calculate them all. It's been a busy season, lol.

I lead the overall series with him by at least 3 games..... 😂

I'd ask what the secret to beating him is, but I don't think I'll take your advice this year.......

Not just that, but Ewers averages 5 yards a throw, which is among the lowest in the conference. He often throws the ball horizontally, so his completion numbers are very high and to your point, the receivers are good enough to make plays. But it's not necessarily anything special from Quinn. I'm hesitant to give up on him because I've seen him at his best, and there's a chance he comes back off the bye and had a mental reset and gets back to that level, but my concern is very high.

Elko might have had a little bit easier of a decision, or I should say less pressure, to switch to Reed. Similar to Arch, he can create plays, where Weigman and Ewers just can't do it. That always gives you a chance to win even when you have the occasional rookie mistake. But I think Sark is really trying to get Quinn back on track and save his NFL stock. I don't know that for sure, but that's what it looks like to me. Don't really care for that if that's the case.

I agree that I think sark is trying to get Ewers ready for the next level. I also think that he’s protecting Arch to some extent.

And in doing both of those, he’s limiting the team.

People were saying Sark having Quinn and Arch was a best of both worlds scenario. I think it's a double-edge sword. They can both play and be really good, but they both have different weaknesses (Quinn's immobility/Arch's inexperience). Quinn's weakness can make you predictable, Arch's weakness can make you reckless.

It's easier to determine how to improve on Arch's weakness though...time. The more he plays, the more experienced he becomes, the lesser his weakness.

I honestly don't think Ewers is the complete package the horns need to compete for a NC .... Is Manning? Time will tell .... I think Sark really needs to do some soul searching about which one can help the most, right now ..... If it were me, I would pull the trigger and put Arch in as starter  .....  I doubt Ewers has much of a future in the NFL ....

Agreed. And I would make the move now, giving Arch time he needs prior to the A&M game.

Exactly. Which is why I don't balk at the idea of putting Arch out there. His weakness doesn't outweigh the threat he presents.
