After a week's worth of practice, I’m really ready to see what the first half is going to be like. I'm very disappointed in the second half. If you’re supposed to be good; you should be able to at least block and run, and they couldn’t even do that vs Teauge. We basically couldn’t move the ball. Jon never had more than one ca per series. I hope It was just a shock of losing Bryant, and all the other stuff.

Because yall should blow out Fairfield and your last game the final two games on you regular season schedule doesnt matter. This is what happens when you get to the elite level westwood has made it to. You start looking ahead to possible playoff matchups and see how it will shake out. This district is down compared to westwood this season yall are elite offensively very elite top 3 offense if not best in 3A for sure! but yall will be the only team to win round one of playoffs and move on because EC, Orangefield, and Hardin are very good this season. 

 

Welcome to the top 5 westwood you dont get to hide behind your past when you are this good this is what happens love it or hate it but every week you will be matched up against the franklins, malakoffs, columbus/Hitchcocks of 3A welcome it don't cry about people talking about you lol

I saw that too. That’s pretty cool though for him to call out the fans that just sit there. That’s always been a pet peeve of mine. Our fans use games as gossip hour and just sit around giggling with folks. Got a group that cheers non stop but other than that notta.

The Bryant boys are grades 10, 8, and 6. It’s going to be something special to see Kavian and Kaden playing together next year, just hoping that they stay at Westwood.

It is progressively getting worse year by year. I will say, last week, after we lost our QB and the game got tight, the fans were more engaged. It’s like nobody wants to be “that guy” who is going all out in the stands, but when they see a few others getting excited and loud, it makes it easier for them to join in. In the blowout games this year we had very little cheering in the stands other than when there was a TD.

I get your point but their pre district schedule has been pretty soft for them this year.  9-3A is also not strong this year.

Yeah. We saw it vs Columbus too but imo, I feel like they can get out of those situations. Especially if their defense plays like it did last week.  The decisions they made were cause of their defense play, so I get that.

People don't seem to understand that when Bryant went out of the game, Teague stacked the box and blitzed pretty much every play. Westwood had no chance to get much going. Our back up quarterback is questionably our best receiver so he doesn't get many reps at QB in practice. You can bet he go plenty of reps this week. I can't wait to see what happens if Fairfield tries to stack the box.
