Inflation….high energy bills and high mortgages are hitting even the middle class hard….imagine the people who work at lower income jobs….that’s probably why so many people would rather get unemployment benefits than to work a minimum wage job….Democrats have royally messed up the economy for years all in the quest to buy votes from the working and now the non-working class….

the country will be destroyed if they get another four years of this nonsense….

If that's true, I consider myself one of the fortunate ones. I'm personally at around $130K, and I'm the sole income earner in my house. Although my house and car are paid off, and Thankfully I've got a decent chunk in the bank.

And add this to the list of things the MSM is hiding under the wraps.......Those 12,000 jobs last month are showing a booming ecomony, plus, inflation cost the average american family $1000 a month more than last year.....but it's steady....coming down.....that's $12,000 a year more spend because of corporate greed and out of control government spending........

A guy in my office was complaining about youngsters wanting to start at $15-16 an hour with no experience. Said he started working his first job in 1985 at $5 an hour. Curiously, I plugged $5 into the inflation calculator....comes out to about $15 in 2024...he's probably mad because he doesn't make much more than $16 an hour today...

Your family is struggling to make it with 150K a year in Texas.  You have a spending problem.

The only time I ever saw that much money was when they had me sign papers for my first house, and I didn't get NO $25,000 1st time buyer credit......

When we bought our house back in 2008, I still had a car payment and was making something like $45,000 a year.

This has been known since Biden took office that he shutdown the Keystone pipeline and stopped drilling on federal lands….

The all time drilling output in our country's history was this week. We are crushing OPEC. Get some fresh info, maybe?

So you think that because we are still trending up, but not as up as the industry was projecting that it didn't affect prices?  How ignorant of you to not understand how commodity businesses are run.

Yes, we are still increasing capacity, but at a much higher cost due to the ever increasing costs associated with BS regulations that were imposed in the name of "climate change".  I see it every day.  Increasing fines, increasing upgrades, increasing permitting, increasing testing.  If you think that doesn't have an affect on our energy costs, you are delusional, and those came about under the Obama EPA and the Biden EPA.

Somehow the environmental laws didn't impact Shell's 6 BILLION dollar profit in the last quarter, but my response was to his statement about a pipeline closing that had no impact and the fact that plenty of drilling is evidently going on, your tears aside.

So what does that come out to as a profit margin?  I would be willing to bet it is substantially lower than most businesses in other areas of the market.

Most of our electrical plants don't even run on coal thanks to Obama.  So, yes the environmental laws do impact the cost of energy.  Switching over to different equipment that is not as effective and degrades faster are actually worse for the environment in the long run.  By 2030, we will begin to see a small impact, but by 2050 the damage to the environment will begin to be felt and seen.  The damage that it brings will continue to grow larger as we continue to use solar panels and wind turbines for energy.  It may make the green crowd feel ecstatic now, but the environment will feel the impact later.  The Dark Side of Solar Power

Nimrods don’t understand how to run a business….the company I work for makes Billions per quarter….but costs have skyrocketed…fuel, labor, etc….the Biden/Harris inflation economy has pushed prices up to historic levels and businesses are struggling to keep their profits from evaporating….without profit the companies shrink and die…but Barry would still have a job…

No, that’s production output.  We are not increasing our drilling
