Maud should win this game. I may be biased (Godfather Junior is a senior on this team), but I for one am proud of the resilience this group of kids has shown after an 0-4 start to come out and win the District. You can say all you want about how bad of a district this is or whatever, but we play who the UIL tells us to play with the kids we have. Same as every other school in Texas.

For those who stayed on and finished the year with your team:   You will be successful in future endeavors because you will not quit at anything when times get tough.  That’s more than half of the battle in becoming great.  Good luck in the future to all of the Sr’s that stuck it out when things were going south.

Basketball won’t be any better. They had to forfeit varsity games last year because they did not have enough players.

They could not last season for a few weeks.

Just doesn’t seem like there are a lot of boys coming through there anymore, plus the ones that are supposed to be there leave because of inconsistency with winning games.
