I was just looking at the bracket and there is one game I think people might sleep on...or atleast I haven't seen any talk about it. I'm assuming Jefferson will beat Mineola and assuming Grandview will beat Whitesboro.  That's Jefferson vs Grandview game might be interesting.

When we win this week, we shouldn't have any issue with Pottsboro or Maypearl.  Would be interesting for a potential GV rematch.

This region is tougher than what most think. If you sleep on a team it may bite them in the long run. I wouldn't sleep on any district 5 team, they could make it a game.

All BS aside, Tatum gonna bring it on Thursday night and this isn't going to be a usual bi-district thumping as we are used too. They are gonna do what every team has wanted to since the Madisonville game and try to knock off the reigning state champs and kill a 26 game win streak, which I could careless about that win streak. They got a great coach as well. They stuck it in there with LE and Jeffy. Just some miscues and calls and maybe we'd see Tatum in the top 3, rather than at the 4 spot. I feel like whomever wins this game would have an easier game next week, imo.

It's real simple for us. Ball control + no mental mistakes. Penalties that put us behind the chains were often against Atlanta and we are not the team to play from behind the chains. We have to drain the clock against athletic teams and score points at the end of the clock draining drive. That we didn't do, and they buried us. Again, mental mistakes took 2 scores off the board against Jefferson that ended up with neither opportunity ending in points.

Long clock draining drives, no penalties to put us in 1st and 20....and we got a fighting chance. Fail to do either and it will be a long night.

We'll definitely will have to get some stops. I think we'll see more of #56 than #55 on the dline from here on out for us. Will probably see #50 as well too.

I think the biggest task for Tatum is how they will handle Jones.

Pray he goes towards #8.

It's gonna depend on what Tatum team shows up. If we come and play mistake free ball and #8 does his thing at LB.....we could find ourselves in striking distance late. If the team that played Atlanta shows up.....total blow out.

Mike Jones is a great player but he is not the only one on the team. People seem to forget about the 10 other people on the field. Let Mike go out there on the field alone and see how far he gets.

Don't get in your feelers man. There's plenty of good kids on this year's team that contribute.

Jones is a good QB for sure. Fortunately for Tatum they’ve seen half a dozen QBs similar this season in terms of a duel

They might have seen some but Mike is on another level. That dude will run you over and keep running. Haven't seen many others do that.

I feel like or assuming Baysinger is probably the best one you guys had seen all season. You guys have seen a few.
