trueblue82
For only the second time ever, the Joaquin Rams will take on the Centerville Tigers, once again in a Bi-District Playoff game. This one will happen on Thursday night at Arp’s Tiger Stadium. The last time these two met was in 2017, when the Tigers earned a hard fought 20-10 victory thanks to a stellar defensive performance. The Tigers come into this one off of a 9-1 regular season, going unbeaten through District 12AA Div 1 to earn their 6th consecutive district title. The Tigers are known for their hard nosed defense and their ball control offense, running Coach Kyle Hardee’s Wing-T scheme with precision. The Rams will be a decided underdog, despite exceeding expectations in Coach Jared Jones’s first year at the helm. The Rams are averaging 42 points per game in the Slot-T, leaning heavily on a massive offensive line led by senior center Brayden Cummings. The Rams are the #4 seed out of District 11AA D1, and are coming off a disappointing 34-8 loss at the hands of the Garrison Bulldogs. Can the Rams bounce back and pull the upset? Will JJ let Doomer crash at his house?

neveragain
Don't know who wins, but something tells me the game will be played in a very short time unless one team goes crazy and throws 5 passes.

Got to go with Joaquin. Nothing against Centerville just know how the Rams perform at Arp. Surprised anyone would agree to play'em there. Plus they doing great in the poll! Treadnwater
Know nothing about Centerville but I do know how scrappy the Rams are. Being 4th in their district means nothing. All 4 teams are very good. Looking for the Rams to pull off the win.

We are probably, by far, the best 4 seed team in the region. I also think Centerville has very quietly put together a 9-1 season while beating some quality teams along the way. Coach Hardee has been there for a long time. He’s the longest tenured coach in the region. Year in, year out, he and his staff put a quality team together that is a tough out for anyone. They will be ready to play, they will have a great game plan on both sides of the ball and they will play with toughness. We have to do the same. I think we are capable of doing that. I do expect this to be a good game, one that we are capable of winning. But it won’t be a walkover.
