SFA was without starting quarterback Sam Vidlak who has gone 174-of-257 this season throwing for 2,387 yards, 27 touchdowns and just four interceptions. Vidlak suffered a shoulder injury in the fourth quarter against Nicholls.

"He’s with our training staff," Carthel said. "They’re working on him. It’s his non-throwing shoulder, which is good but he wasn’t able to play this past week. I hope to get him back as soon as possible."

According to the same article, Carthel said he was out coached / didn't have the team ready................

Man, yall got beat by East Texas A&M. UIW has the best team in the Conference for the last couple of years. Would be surprised if this game is close. Time to give up on the Carthel experience….
