reddmutt1898
The most famous celebrity I have ever met and engaged in conversation was James Best of "Roscoe P Coaltrain" fame. He was attending a car show in Shreveport La. in early 1980. He was the featured celebrity that day. He was as witty in person as he was on the "Dukes of Hazard" show. Corona45
I have met a few famous people and shook their hands.....The one i can say i had the best time with was Pat Green... I met him at on a golf course in Edmond Oklahoma and i was going out there to tee off and he was right behind us waiting to tee off.....Long story short there was two of us and Pat Green with his tour manager... they asked us to join... We played 18 and drank more than a few beers while playing and it seemed our score was getting worse the more we played....Great times
falcon
When I was just a kid, we visited the set of "Giant" in Marfa and watched the filming of a scene with Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean. After they were finished, we got to get up close to them, she spoke and he just tipped his hat. Really a big thrill that I never forgot, old as I am.
