RETIREDFAN1
That's who I was thinking would win it. Tomorrow the NL version comes out (I think). My sentimental favorite for that one is Roger Clemens.

hubbardjack
Why in the world did Mark Buehrle only get 5 votes? That's crazy to me....

And think about what Dean Chance did in 1964. 1. Pitched for the 82-80 Angels 2. Tied for AL lead in wins with 20. 3. Led league in Shutouts (11). 4. 207 strikeouts (3rd in AL). 5. Led league in Innings Pitched (278 1/3) 6. 2nd in Fewest Hits Per Game (6.27). 7. Led the AL in ERA (1.65) which was the lowest in the majors since Spud Chandler of the Yankees in 1943. 8. 2nd in Opp. BA ( .195) He won the Cy Young Award by garnering 17 of the 20 votes in the ballotting.................... All in all, a pretty fair season for ol' Dean in 1964 !!
