This week in The Sporting News they reported that there's a good chance that when Parcells decides to hang em up that the Cowboys attempt to go after Jeff Fisher, who's in the last year of his contract with the Titans. In recent weeks, I've also seen or heard Charlie Weis, Bob Stoops and Bill Cowher mentioned as Parcells' replacement. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Canesfan1 Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 im not sure if jiring a college coach would be a very smart idea. i would like to see us go for at least a nfl assistant coach to replace parcells. if it has to be a college coach i do think that stoops would be the best fit other than weis, but he wont leave notre dame. TxBroadcaster Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 First off because of Parcell's age, the fact he burns out because of the hours he puts in there is ALWAYS rumors he will retire. I think if the Boys tank this season, or win the whole thing then he will retire...BUT if they make the play-offs and come up just short I think he will stay. He is talked many times that he loves coaching the young players on this team. As far as TO, he does not hate TO, he hates the way everything revolves around him as far as media is concerned.
