football4life Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Nac beat Livingston 13-7, and Kemp 17-4 yesterday. Not sure how they did or who they played today. And man I hope Nac doesn't play carthage, I sat through that miserable game last year. Please have mercy Field of Dreams.

Carthage is very very good. They beat up our freshmen pitchers like they should. It will be hard for anyone to beat them though. they just dont make mistakes.
jackuup8 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 carthage is good... but the quitman game is a whole lot closer if peckham doesnt give up 11 walks... peckham struck out 13 batters in the game and his incosistency and errors killed quitman... quitman only gave up 4 hits to carthage...
pawprints79 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 That's baseball , kid! Walks and errors =runs! :mf_tongue: This tourney is a good practice for Quitman. They need it, but will be allright. :smileybanger:

Well I'd have to say your right about closer. To win they whould have had to hit Baker.
FieldOfDreams Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 true. even if he didnt give up 11 walks... baker still threw a no hitter
ThEnEwBeGiNnInG Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 baker is a great pitcher lefty very strong arm and great location can't ask for much more in a pitcher
FieldOfDreams Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 what i like is that he works at a quick pace... i think a pitcher is at an advantage when he works quick on the mound.
theprodigy Posted March 6, 2007 Author Posted March 6, 2007 baker is a great looking pitcher. Is he there ace because i heard that jackson was.
porkchop Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I guess you would have to say Carthage has four. Rollins, Baker,Akin,Tate.
