The city of Tyler has posted the most players with 37 for the total. John Tyler has had 25 (this includes the old Tyler High) Robert E. Lee has had 10. T.K. Gorman has had 2. Billy Sims with the Lions, Wilbert Brown with the Chargers, Redskins and a Super Bowl Championship with the Patriots, and Jermiah Trotter who is still in the league. The Texarkana list above, obviously is limited to the west side of town and does not include any Arkansawyers such as Willie Davis of Lombardi's Packers, Rod Smith of the Broncos, Eric Warfield who played several years for the Chiefs, and Mike Cherry who had a cup of coffee with the Giants (was he ever on the active roster?). I think there were quite a few Liberty-Eylau guys who belong on the Texarkana list as well. Somebody help with with LE. Byron Williams was with the Giants. Others?
