Regular season- Tatum/EF has got to be up there as one of the best total all year. Back and forth game. Sad part is someone had to lose. Playoffs- Tatum/D'field was a true battle at Lobo. 68Hornet Posted December 27, 2007 Share Posted December 27, 2007 Liberty-Eylau beat Wimberley in three overtimes 30-24. L-E was leading 24-7 in regulation, but Wimberley rallied for 17 points in fourth quarter. Wimberley had 25-yard field goal to win in first overtime and missed. L-E had 20-yard field goal to win in second overtime and there was a bad snap and the Leopards didn't score L-E defense made great stand in third overtime, a diving interception stopping the Texans. L-E then won in third overtime on a touchdown pass. L-E probably played its best football of the season during those three overtime periods. L-E lost to Gilmer in a very good playoff game where both team's back rushed for over 200 yards. It was 28-26 in fourth quarter and L-E was driving when quarterback got hurt. Second and third-teamers were already on sideline and fourth qb fumbled the snap. Gilmer took it in and the game was history. I'm not saying L-E would have won if qb hadn't got hurt because L-E's defense couldn't stop Justin Johnson that night. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Texas High... Marshall overcomes a 27-10 halftime hole (21-3 at one time) to take a 31-17 lead late in the fourth. Seals the win with an INT at the 20 with less than a min. in the game. Elysian Fields 19, Arp 13 2. Whitehouse 33, Sulphur Springs 30 HANDS DOWN, one of the greatest games ive ever witnessed in ANY sport the Whitehouse - Sulpher Springs first round playoff game .... Whitehouse was down the whole game, had 6 points with 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. Was down 24-12 with half a quarter left to play in the fourth, Stephen Hicks came up with a HUGE pick from SS Tyrik rollison, came back took the lead 25-24, Tyrik rollison struck fast and failed on the conversion to make it 30-25, Brady Attaway and WH took over with 2 minutes left, ran the drill and scored to go up 33-30 with :33 seconds left.
