The 6-man board of directors met in Lubbock on January 12th. Damien was voted into the 6-man Hall of Fame. He will be inducted this summer at the 6-man all star game. Damien graduated from Tarleton State University. DAMIEN JACKSON’S CAREER STATS Career totals (3 years): 510 carries 8313 yards 16.3 yds/carry 151 TD's 996 points (offensive only-also had 18 defensive points) 213 yards/game 26 points per game almost 4 rushing TD's per game Damien played in 39 games in his 3 year career at Trinidad. Trinidad's record was 33-6, culminating with a state championship in 1998. 27 of those games were ended by the 45 point rule, which prevented Damien from playing a 3rd and/or 4th quarter. Defensively, he had 210 career solos, 200 assists, 11 caused fumbles, 9 fumble recoveries, and 9 interceptions. Year by year sophomore- 2048 yards junior-3133 yards senior-3132 yards on 176 carries 57 rushing TD's 1998 was also the first year Fox Southwest recognized a 6 man player of the year and Damien was chosen as the first recipient.
