franksnbeans
Now that is funny, but its not going to be so funny friday night, with WO in the house. I know our defense has to turn it up a notch against the spread offense. We cover ok but we never look to the ball. We will have to read the receivers eyes, arms, etc. to turn to the ball . Linebacker's play against the spread is important too. Go ahead and take us lightly  we wanted dfield anyway!!! <_< Trust me, you make think you want Daingerfield, but you really don't. White Oak does not match up well with Daingerfield. Daingerfield's strength is stopping the run. White Oak would not be able to run on Daingerfield they way they have run on other teams. And, Daingerfield's offense is too balanced with too much speed for White Oak. Thank your lucky stars you are not playing Daingerfield in the first round. Otherwise, your first trip to the playoffs in three years would be a short one indeed.

Jefferson's O-Line will control the line and open the way for a 21-7 win for Jefferson.
ETApHC
First off, I want our White Oak boys to win. With that said the biggest thing on the agenda in White Oak this week should be fixing their secondary, they dont look for the ball a lot and as a result are toast on deep, over the shoulder passes. Congratulations to our three backs for 1,000+ yd season each, really do hope we can pull this one out
warrior2010
this game comes down to jefferson's passing and white oak's secondary...WO needs to get way better in the pass defense or be able to get pressure with their front 4. If Sabine can throw all over a team, what can the teams that actually won more than 1 or 2 games do....the teams that are still playing? Hope WO shows up friday night and looking forward to a good game. Roughnecks 31 Bulldogs
IMABUM
If the secondary is as bad as you say, Cordell Roberson will have a huge night, he can catch anything near him, and thats against a good secondary.
FlowJack
It will be a short one anyways. Jefferson's O-Line will control the line and open the way for a 21-7 win for Jefferson. But the d-line is too porous to stop the Roughneck running game, too. I think there will be a lot of scoring...
IMABUM
The D-line is actually very strong at times.. they have their off games just like everyone else

One of the key players on the defensive line is healthy now!! Makes a big diff.
cats69
"The fastest team that THEY'VE had" does still not compare to an always fast Jefferson teams speed. nobody said it did. theyre just faster than normal . and WO will be bigger and stronger and more disciplined. WO will be just fine and will advance. They will have to turn the ball over to lose but thats not something they do. they do things right. SL1KK
Gotta go with my 17-2A team, long time rival Jefferson Bulldogs... I'm hoping they've put all the distractions of this past week behind them and get back to playing football... Don't really have alotta useful info regarding these teams, I just know it should be a good ballgame and I'm pulling for Jefferson !!
fiftysix
this will definitely be a high scoring affair, i wouldn't be surprised at all if the total score goes over 100 pts. like many have mentioned, white oak's secondary has got to step it up for white oak to pull out a victory... jefferson is going to be the fastest team we've played.. the D-line for white oak has been pretty tough most of the year, if they come out and put a lot of pressure on the qb, and the linebackers can get containment when he takes off... white oak should be able to control the game... i think WO can score 35+ with a steady dose of Big O and McCurdy/Hamilton...but the key will be for Trevor Wait to lead his defense and slow down the bulldogs.. jefferson has big-play capabilty every down and we've got to be ready every snap.. Seniors, it starts today in practice!! Get 'em ready!
Wormtongue
I gotta agree with what everyone's said so far concerning White Oak's secondary. There's no doubt the game will most likely be decided by how well our corners and safety's play. Their going to have to turn their heads and find the ball friday night because if they don't Jefferson has some guys that will go up and get it everytime. With that said, I hope the seniors on the team make sure everyday of practice this week goes the way it should and that we come into Friday's game focused and prepared to go to battle. Goodluck to the Necks and I pray everyone escapes the game with no injuries

FlowJack
Everyone's bringing up some great points. Of coarse Im choosing my DAWGS. I havent had the privalege of seeing my DAWGS play this year due to being stationed in VA. All I can go off of is what Jefferson4life is telling me. I know one thing though. When the clock strike 00:00, there will be one team jumping for joy while the one is in tears. For the Seniors in this game, give it all you got. And push it to the LIMIT...... jy, you need to get some kinda special leave and get down here for this one-it should be a donnybrook!!
frogger84
We know WO has a slammin' running game, but if they get bhind and have to pass the football, Jefferson sure hopes Tubbs is in the game...seems like WO struggles there.

Stinger1
The Dawgs will need to keep the WO backs in check and to do that you cut down the O-Line....it's hard to run when you have to step on or over you own players in order to get past the line of scrimmage, but hey sometimes it's easier said than done. Best of luck to both teams I look forward to watching a good game. P.S. WO & Jefferson wear some shoes that have good traction that turf at the nest can be slick even when it's not raining. fiftysix
To any of the White Oak players/fans who might underestimate Jefferson: Jefferson's Schedule: @ Pittsburgh L 6-7........ Very Good 3a that won their district @ Tatum W 26-0............ they're in a down year, but it's still Tatum and they did make the playoffs in a very tough district Paul Pewitt L 19-30..........Good Team that won their district San Augustine W 15-7........Good athletic playoff team @ North Lamar L 24-36.......almost 4a, good team @ Ore City W 33-6.............dominated what was talked up to be a playoff team Queen City W 34-0.............big win @ Daingerfield L 14-32........a team that beat 3a celina.. only loss to gilmer Linden-Kildare W 45-13.........big win @ Hughes Springs W 42-32....very impressive win, just days after the news about the forfeited games, and beats a very good hughes springs to clinch a playoff spot since lk beat oc (this isn't including the forfeited games.. the kid that was ineligible was a non-factor)
Slab1
jefferson 35 white oak 7 Knasty, As a former Blue tiger I enjoy reading your posts. I'm still a loyal Tiger fan, but just because Jefferson is in the same district with D'field doesn't make them a contender. Jefferson gives up 30 something to H.S. PLEASE!!! White Oak defense is suspect at times(have trouble with pass coverage) but I dont believe Jefferson will be able to stop the W.O. running game. If this was W.O. against dem Blue Tigers I'd agree with 35 or even 42 to 7, but not to Jtown. Necks 38, Dawgs

heater37
WO must not let the speed of JEFF get startyed. Must swarm to the ball and tackle tackle tackle. Def backs. Do what your r told to but use your "savy" and be a football player. Read the qb and react to the ball. After 4-5 seconds turn and look for the ball. DONT GET BEAT DEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
