Playoff Uniforms.

EF wore the Black pants only the 2nd year... Morris asked the kids in pre-season 99 what they wanted as far as uniforms.. They said Black unis.... He told them if they returned to the Finals he'd do it... We forgot about it until we upset Refugio in the Semis then Morris realized he'd better come up with something... Kids loved em... We borrowed black pants from Mike Newton at Hughes Springs and others from Morrison HS, OK (where I had bought 30 pair of Oklahoma State's black pants from them for $30/pair). Of course Celina beat us 38-7 and it was the fault of the black pants........

 

Tenaha's "Tiger Stripes" jerseys were bought in 2006 for playoffs and special occasions.....They are actually pretty cool looking.. Best comment I've heard about them was at Overton last year... "looks like we're playing the Cincinnati Bengals."
