Loftin74
Congrats to Brad for his first Cup win.............but thank God for catch fences and safer cars..........if those two things weren't in NASCAR right now, there would be about 200 dead fans and a dead driver in Alabama right now. BGR
A seriously crazy finish. Those fans in the first few rows got more of a show than they ever imagined. Great job by Keslowski. It was fun watching Carl pull a "Ricky Bobby" and run to cross the finish line... classic. The safety equipment really saved some lives today... great job NASCAR. E86T
On sportscenter they said 7 people were taken to the hospital. 2 of them were life flighted out. The worst injury I heard was a woman got her jaw broken. Thank God that fence held and that nobody was seriously injured.
etos10
What a great win and my respect for cousin Carl just skyrocketed. I did not hear his interview, but have heard that he just said that Brad did what he had to to win and had no control over what happened to Carl -- I also thought it was great when he ran across the finish line, too funny!
CoachTobinReid
How in the world can folks do that? After seeing that finish, I would have a hard time ever driving again if I was that racer. WOW, think God he is okay. I hope the fans are as well.

WOW, think God he is okay. I hope the fans are as well. They drive again because they can walk away with nothing but a few scraps and bruises from such a horrific wreck. Too bad normal cars and streets can't be made as safe. I would hate to have to strap on a HANS device and a helmet to run to the store though.
