Frisco HS OC Josh Gibson will be recommended as new AD/FB Coach at Pleasant Grove, based on SB approval, he'll replace Kevin Davis #txhsfb

Davis left Pleasant Grove a few weeks ago to become OC at Carthage HS.
Bryan ISD hires Palestine's Angel as new AD...

Nacogdoches DB Lane commits to Oklahoma State

Nacogdoches 2015 cornerback Jaylon Lane has committed to Mike Gundy and Oklahoma State, announcing his commitment via Twitter on Sunday morning.

Lane (6'2 - 185) held more than 30 offers from across the country including Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Ohio State, LSU, UCLA, Miami and defending national champion Florida State.

Congratulations to Jaylon and the Nacogdoches program.

Will Henderson ran a 10.15 prelims at the Texas Relays earlier this year, but in the final ran a 10.50.

He had his heisman taken away for breaking a rule that was in place at that time. It doesn't matter that the rules have changed now, the rule was still in place, and broken, at that time. 

 

Are they going to give USC their vacated wins back too?

How about any other player or University that was punished for breaking a rule, that the rule no longer applies today. Are they going to go back and reverse all of those too?

Completely agree. Are we going to start letting prisoners out for drug offenses in cities/states where it is now legal? 
 

This is and has been a stupid topic and should have never gained traction.

Depends on how the first rounds falls. There are some really good OL in this draft. 

Suamataia - BYU

Patrick Paul - Houston

Jordan Morgan - Arizona 

Rosegarten - Washington

 

Those guys are all projected 2nd-3rd round. I believe they're all fairly close in talent, with very little drop off between them and the first round guys who 'could' be there for Dallas, Mims and/or Guyton. So if you can get one in the second round with a fairly equal talent level, then why not go best player available in the first round?

 

I have always believed round 1 of the NFL draft should be best player available. Draft positions of need after.Â
