The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award:

The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award will be presented yearly to the nation’s most outstanding Division I college offensive player of the year. Winners will be selected by a selection committee comprised of journalists, broadcasters, commentators, former winners and fans. The award winner will be announced in December of each year at an awards dinner hosted in Tyler, TX. The award will go to a player who exhibits characteristics similar to those of the awards namesake: integrity, drive, determination, achievement in the face of adversity, and tenacity to persist. This award honors the legacy of Earl Campbell and recognizes his home community of Tyler, Texas. The initial award will be given out at the conclusion of the 2013 football season.

Hopefully we come out without to many injuries. Wish we’d had this preseason the last few years when we were in a weak district. This district will have a couple good teams that’s not making the playoffs.
