Tragic News on former North Lamar RB

North Lamar head football coach Tommy Felty just confirmed the passing of former star running back Dakota Boles, who was critically injured during a four-wheeler accident in North Texas, before being airlifted to Parkland Hospital in Dallas.

He passed away on Monday.

Coach Felty mentioned funeral arrangements are pending, but, there is a good chance the funeral will be held on Monday afternoon the North Lamar High School gymnasium.

Boles owned two of the top rushing yards a game records at North Lamar with 346 against Atlanta in 2010, and 324-yards against Pleasant Grove in 2009. He also rushed for 1,599-yards and 25-TD's in 2010.

Atlanta has no run offense. Completely relying on a â€œbig playâ€ to score. Jefferson had the better players in the trenches and def the better RB. You find out who the real players are in games like these. Good luck to both teams going forward.Â
