ICYMI- Three more offers for Sulphur Springs' Larry Pryor

With already holding offers from Texas and Texas Tech, the 2015 safety recently picked up three more offers- In as many days.

During a visit on Sunday, TCU offered the physical, speedy safety. On Monday the SEC came through and Arkansas offered. Rounding out the trifecta this morning was Oklahoma State. All three recent offers came unexpected to Pryor.

�You know it�s just exciting, I didn�t see any of this coming.� Pryor told Smoaky.com, �Going into Texas I heard they were going to offer, same with TCU, but had no idea Arkansas or Oklahoma State was going to.�

Troup's Blake Lynch Gets Baylor Offer

Baylor is the latest to offer Troup QB Blake Lynch, Class of 2015. Lynch told David Smoak his first camp this summer will be at Baylor on June 9th.

Mississippi State was the first to offer Lynch, who will end up with a massive offer list by the end of the summer.

Cayuga ISD names Russell Holden new Athletic Director

Cayuga ISD has named its new Athletic Director to replace Greg Jenkins who took a similar position recently at Tenaha ISD.

Monday night, the Cayuga Board of Trustees voted Cayuga assistant Russell Holden the new Athletic Director at Cayuga ISD.

Robey leaving Cushing for New Caney Porter

Danny Robey will leave as the AD/Head Football/Head Baseball Coach at Cushing High School and join the staff of Reno Moore at New Caney Porter High School.

Robey and Moore were both assistants together under Randy McFarlin at both Daingerfield and Whitehouse.

Robey was 3-17 in two years at Cushing.
Heath Ragle AD/Football Coach at Eustace

Heath Ragle is the new AD/Head Football Coach at Eustace High School, replacing Brian Herman who resigned to become the head coach at Lockhart High School.

Ragle has been the defensive coordinator at Eustace for two years, and spent five years as an assistant coach at Mineola High School.

Jerry Bennett Announces Retirement

Jerry Bennett just told Smoaky.com he will retire from coaching at the end of this school year.

Bennett, who won 154-games in 24-years as the head coach at either Jefferson or Linden-Kildare, said, "I was seriously considering retirement after last season, but, I just didn't pull the trigger until now," Bennett continued, "I recently had back surgery and during the time I was confined to doing nothing, I just decided now was the time, our program at Jefferson is in great hands whether I'm there or not."
