Dawson Hires Larry Prince

Larry Prince, who has been the AD/Head Football Coach at Bandera High School the last six years, is the new AD/Football Coach at Dawson High School.

Prince, who was 24-40 at Bandera, including three playoff teams told David Smoak, "I'm very excited about a new opportunity at Dawson High School and working with a superintendent (Stacy Henderson) I've known for a long time." Prince continued, "I think we have a solid nucleus of returning starters and a great young group coming up through the system."

Prince was a long-time assistant coach at Tatum High School under Andy Evans, and, was the Eagles defensive coordinator when they won back-to-back state championships in 2005 and 2006.

Prince replaces Scott Hawkins who resigned after an 0-10 season in 2012.
