This year I attended the wedding of a former player. I have had a former player call and tell me he accepted Christ into his heart. Football- getting my first win as a head coach was worth 20 years of hard work. Otherwise it's about the athletes. |

| What is the biggest challenge facing Texas High School Football right now? | : I believe ignorance is one of the biggest challenges facing Texas High School Football. As coaches we need to continue to treat each player who plays for us with respect and gratitude. We need to be grateful to their parents for allowing us to coach their children. We need to educate our players about life expectations and teach them through football. If we do not step up to these challenges as coaches, then both players and parents will begin, and continue, to choose other activities for their children's participation. |
