Since the sports editor is originally from Hooks maybe you should contact him to complain about the coverage. Not much anyone here can do about it.

Ooooops....Article in today's Gazette under Sports Check on page 3B about Michael Wacha making the Freshman All-Ameerica team.

It was announced June 9th on the Texs A & M web site that Michael Wacha was named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American baseball team. I have not seen this in the Texarkana Gazette as of yet. You might want to check this out.

In today's game you must have left after the 5th inning because TH changed pitchers in the 6th from Burt to Liles.

Hey pal...guess you didn't read my last post....looks like you copied me....I am over it....it was your buddies that kept it going and you seem to want to jump in for some reason....so butt out....it is over....TH won ....period.

You are correct, I was not down the 3rd base line and I agree that was an idiot who said those things to your daughter and he should have been escorted out of the stadium. However, I do not believe all TH fans should be labled as classless because of a couple of idiots. The comments I heard from some of your fans and the whining because you got beat did not show much sportsmanship either. My problem with a couple of your fans were the comments that TH was an inferior team especially after one poster in an earlier post commented we were a good team when we beat Marshall, who beat PT, but fell to inferior when we beat PT. If our girls read those comments I believe they are just as insulting as the comments made to your daughter altho different in context. The umpire behind the plate was very inconsistent but that is part of the game. The calls she made I had no control over as you had no control over. Simply part of the game and I am hoping this can be last of all comments regarding this particular game. It is over and enough is enough.

Geez you people just don't quit....what losers....I tell you what....I am not quite sure how to post the video on here but I will be in Longview for the TH-Longview game tomorrow and if you want a copy of the video bring $25 and I will give it to you so you can see once and for all how wrong and stupid you really are....of course you wouldn't admit it if I was right and the shot is to the right of home plate not down the first base line but you can see it very clearly....I didn't hear any of our fans talk down to your girls....just you constantly whining about the umpires....just shows you are like your compadre texhog....both classless whining losers....again I will be at the Longview game with my camera set up behind home plate....you won't be able to miss me.....that is if you are not whining at the PT game.

I do remember the PT fans clapping for our 2nd baseman for making a good catch. I also remember our fans clapping for your second baseman making the same type of play but maybe it was hard for you to hear that since you were constantly complaining about the umpires. I guess our girls should have laid down and let PT have their way so you could have gone home happy. But our girls played hard and deserved the win. By the way, I was the gentleman taping the game for TH and I have watched it several times. Guess what?.....TH still wins. I wonder which sore loser you were since there were several of you complaining. And speaking of class, just by reading your posts it is more than evident you have little.

Some fan from Pine Tree stated Texas High was getting some "home cooking" and that started some vocal exchanges, but never and I mean NEVER was anything said to, about or was there any taunting toward any of the Pine Tree players by any Texas High fan and for you to say so is absolutely ridiculous. And you have the nerve to call us "classless". All I heard from you was all the bad calls you were getting from the umpires and I had to shake my head because Texas High got a few bad ones also. You stated Texas High was the better team against Marshall and since Marshall beat Pine Tree you now say Texas High is an inferior team. Doesn't say much for your team since they were swept twice by an inferior team, but I believe Texas High earned both wins by outstanding defensive plays in both games. Just shows that some people can be pitiful sore losers and I think you are right up there with the best of them. One good thing about it tho....since we will be in another district next year we won't have to play you guys anymore which will be tough on us because we always chalked Pine Tree up as a win.

In looking at a replay of the call referred to above, the PT runner's foot crossed the plate after the tag was made by the TH catcher making the call correct. It was another close game between these two teams, both making several nice defensive plays.
