This should be an interesting game. First game with new philosphy new staff for MP. I'm sure Kilgore will have a lot of bugs worked out and be ready.

Mt. Pleasant, Tyler, Marshall, Longview, Kilgore, and Jacksonville are all pretty nice.

LB Barry Minter is from Mt. Pleasant not T-High. Tyrone Brooks DE MP/Kilgore JC/Texas Tech late 80's early 90's was a one man wrecking crew.

Is there any info on Sam Walker moving to a private school in Shreveport? That makes 2 from the secondary, how will this affect the MP?

Wiseman you are correct. I found the schedule posted on Smoaky and did not check it closely. That should be a good game also. The rest of the schedule looks to be right.

Thank you for the update Wildcat. Sounds like Coach Owens may have a good quad after all. I wish yall well for the upcoming season and maybe MP and SS can have one of those old classic battles like they use to.

I hope THSfanatic is right, but I'm afraid Chuckie is right on the numbers game. I wish the former coaching staff well with their new teams. They are a great group of coaches. As for the remaining coaches and the new staff, it looks like they may have their hands full with this years schedule. I hope the kids respond well.

I have seen him at the fieldhouse several times this summer and as of last Tuesday he was still at MP. I do not know if he is staying, I guess time will tell.
