i think that LE was the 3A state champs last year. I heard that Carthage also got a new head coach, i know they have always been good in the summer and at the High School level, but who ever took over that club will have alot of talent. :yankees:

i dont think that Dewberry plays for LE... i knowhe used to play for Arkansas High then quit, i heard he went to options to get his GED but he may have went to LE, just another on of their many good players they have...

Texas High is ready for any team who wants to play us... you need to check out the junior class with Stilson, and Wrightner and possibly some Sophmores, Heathcott and Dudley, and Hunter Allday might make a statemeant this year to come...they are very deep in pitching this year with the leftys Turley Brothers, Heathcott and Self and Eaton... They also should be good defensivley with Eaton behind the plate, David holdin third down, Stilson at short and Wrightner at second alond with Pat or josh Turley at first, turley might also get time in the out field with Jimmy Strong, Lance Foster and Heatcott... the JV teams will be very Dangerous this year as well as all 3 teams always are... look for them to go deep in the play-offs the year and show off that ring... LE who???? Texas High aint going to be known for Mallett any more!

which team did they play they have 2 JV teams... and none of them had a shutout.. look on our website.. but it will be okay.. how many seniors did SS lose?

they might be inexperienced but will be a dangerous squad to deal with.. Welch is a good coach ond knows what he is tlaking about!

mallett doesn't play baseball I know that but since the Mallett era Texas High has become a legend in their own mind. They just presume they will win in every sport. Last year I was told that the T-High JV coach thought our players would be intimidated just by their taking infield and we went on to beat them with a shut-out. The next game they brought the lefty freshman up and and we beat them again in a shutout. Our JV only lost one game last year and that was to Pleasant Grove that was playing a mixture of Varsity and JV kids in a tournament. none of the Texas High baseball teams got shut out if u can prove it them u will make me a beliver.. get your facts straight!
