Eustace 1-9 in district last year. Against #2s and #3s I mean come on now who are we foolin here. Eustace MIGHT make playoffs. Kemp's #1 is a lot stronger than last year, heard he was clocked at 92 mph and consistent 88-90. NO pitcher in district will be able to stop Kemp's 1-4 hole they kind of slide off a little bit w/ 5 and 6, but the bottom of the line-up will still be pretty competetive. Kemp's SS Matt Carr hit .600 his sophomore year and .500 his junior year curious to see what he'll do this year. Kemp's 1st baseman hit .450 freshman year but was in a slump all of last year due to basketball "went to regional tournament". This year we'll see how his performance plays out. I'm just exited to see how good Kemp is goin to look this year.

Yes, Kemp does have a new coach. I believe he came from a good 4A team, but not for sure. Hopefully so Kemp's Coach last year wasn't to great.

How is Mabank ranked higher than Gilmer in state? Gilmer is 11-0 Mabank only one 3 games in their district.

Yes, defensively Kemp lost three players. Kennedy, Skeirski & Fugitt, but offensively Kemp only lost one good hitter and that's Fugitt which hit around .500 in district. Kenny batted around .250 and Skeirski around .200. Eustace did hit #2 last year, but before that game Kemp's #2's ERA was 0.0 with around 45 innings pitched. Kemp has 6 starters coming back and will take this district easy. The only game that was close in district for them last year was Ferris and that is because Kemp had their #4 on the mound. Their #1 shut down Mabank both games w/ out them even scoring and also shutdown a pretty good Crandall team to only 2 runs. Their #2 shut down Kaufman w/ only allowing one un earned run and also beat Ferris 13-3.

I agree. You can't under estimate Eustace because they do have a chance of hitting well with the Freshman they had last year and their 3 whole hitter. But I still dont think they have a chance at ALL of beating Ferris or Kemp

I don't think that any Freshman will be able to slow down Ferris or Kemp's offence. And Nick Shutak pitching? that's a joke. Kemp has at least 5 hitters in their starting line up that will hit about .350 this year easily.

Who do you think has the best chance of winning this district, and how deep will 13-3A go this year in playoffs.
