I think there is hope for optimism w/o a new staff you always want to give the BOD but Man as an alum part of those building block years there at Lee with Mike Owens it makes me sick that Lee is a laughing stock again. My first yr on varsity 99 season we played at least 5 homecoming games not including our own. And we were home coming kings ever single time . It seems like Lee is now circled for Homecomings again. It makes no sense that they can't field a wing team and build a winning program. There are to many kids to pick from for what they are putting on the field. SMH I hope they get it turned around

Ok so Patrick Mahomes , Dylan Cantrell, Trey Metreyor, and other was a Linebacker who I believe graduated in 99 or 2000 and went to Louisiana Tech and shout out to OBryan Bell he was a JuCo Teammate of mine great RB.

I love ❤️ my Buckeys and hope they win it all but It's not looking to promising. Especially after Carthage is losing to Hennason. They makes us look weaker
Both are good teams and what looked like blowout turned into a game ,but we don't have to see either of those teams again so it's of no consequence. The big picture would be WOS who everyone thought was the second coming of 83 Daingerfield Tigers but low and behold Kennadale put 21 on the board. The BUCKEYES keep getting better and after 10 games if they can go 1-0 6 times and keep getting better well they will be where they want to be.

Off to the best start since '05 is great for the Wildcats. I wish our local media though so. I look at the Tyler paper almost every week and the Longview Paper every week along with Etsn.fm ,etfinalscore,and redzoneetx and man there is hardly ever a write up never mind a box score. And also can someone turn in these kids stats !! Their yards ,tackles, and etc. You don't get to play forever and having those memories in print is a nice thing. I'm going to get off my soap box now but jeez we have three schools in Upshur County that are playing their butts off be nice if all of them could get their due.

56-52 Gilmer over Nacogdoches Overcame 4 turnovers 3 of which where essentially in the Red Zone and the Defense even with these points ,given the position they got put in , the D steeped up. So Overated? Underrated? Rated ? I will enjoy watching these Buckeyes continue to get better every week bc it's not trying to go 16-0 it's trying to go 1-0 16 times

No disrespect taken. Nac has a heck of a team this season. Might be better than Carthage or Gilmer. They dominated Kilgore, hung with Lufkin, and beat 6a REL. I don't know if any team in 4a could do that. Plus they are 3 times the size enrollment wise as Gilmer.
Just a side note and note sure if you intended it this way but Nac is 5A so handling up on Lee although surprising not like a 4A team handling a 6A team

I heard he only had like 50 yards in their loss to Union Grove 18-12 and I did not see him playing vs Redwater the next week. Might be injured but I could be mistaken.
He was 16 for 124 in that game according to max preps ....coach

Nac Beat Lee in 99 I know bc I played in that game but I played in the next 2 as well and they played tough but in '00 and 01 Lee put a boot in their butts
