And i hope fans don't start riding Espada. He can't perform for the players. At least I can't really question his starters. He is pretty much stuck with his 1st baseman situation.
Espada is doing all he can do, it is way to early to give up on this team I remember one year they got off to a terrible start and then starting ripping the ball it is a time that is coming.

Ya'll think you can manage just one win vs the defending champs? Been getting that booty spanked.
Sure we can we got Singleton playing first base today that should make a big difference in the game outcome , you just watch he will probably hit for the cycle

May I say, Abreu is the pits of a hitter, not that great of a 1st baseman, what ever he once had he has lost to age and time, 1 hit in the season so far and just left the bases loaded swinging at ball four. Batting average .83 I think letting Yuli go was a great mistake.

I can't complain about Maldonado taking up a wasted roster spot this year so thus far my sights are set on Jon Singleton. I can't come up with a single reason why he made the roster.
Nobody can

Houston starting pitching has been very good, the relief pitching so far has not been up to task, good to see Alvarez break his slow start. Good series coming up in Texas

I have seen a lot of disgusting baseball from Houston but tonight's 2-1 loss is one of the most disgusting I have seen in a while. Lights out closer didn't close, Houston base runners getting picked off, no clutch hitting guys on 1 and 3rd nobody out and come up with nothing. Altuve getting picked off third base for goodness sakes. Abreu, Pressley and Hader all have blown leads now.

Some take aways from last night game, Abreu got his first hit after 4 games now batting .76 with Alvarez coming down to greet him at .100 Bregman working hard on a 10 year 300 million contract struck out 3 times and went 0-4. Tucker did show he can still hit after the sorry Ranger series from last year and Diaz showed he should have been the starter last your with Moldy warming the bench. I have a feeling Bregman and Alvarez will turn things around fairly quick, I don't have that feeling about Abreu.

That worked out well

I see Houston's weakness Hitting, Pitching and Fielding haven't seen our strengths yet

Of course if Abreu wasn't finishing his two game suspension he would have come in during the 7th inning that would have helped.
-
Parker Mushinski the new left hander in the pen leaves a lot to be desired also, gives up 4 runs to put the game out of reach.

Montero I am glad you got that big contract, unfourtantly it is with the Astros

I don't know who Tay Scott is but he needs a new job and relief Pitcher is not it

walks walks walks.
And a wasted PH bat by Singleton. Will never understand their fascination with him
It would have been a lot worse if not for the DPS

The play had Dubon out but if he called him safe they would not have the view to over turn either. Ump who missed a lot of strike calls both ways made a guess and decided he didn't want to stay late.

Hader is the real deal at least, he can throw strikes with heat

Yankees don't have to hit when you get 9 walks

Frambers luck is fixing to run out

Funny how he keeps mentioning Fair Share of taxes, but never says what that is.
Fair share is what ever they say your share should be, or the real meaning we are going to raise your taxes...They do that by adjusting the tax backets and you will never notice
