Guest bearbacker
Am I missing something? The Dist. 17 track meet results are listed on Texas track.com and apparently the boys scored 42 points, but they aren't listed in any events. Does anyone know what they ran? TxGirl
Seems that only the top 3 were listed in the results on TexasTrack, but top six earn points for their team.
Guest bearbacker
They weren't in the top 3 in anything? What were their times in all 3 relays?
GoBigBlue
I was shocked NB didn't do any better myself. Hooks dominated the boys and Pewitt dominated the girls.
SL1KK
Pewitt's girls came in 5th place, I wouldn't call that dominating....
Pewitt_Brahmas
Hey Slikk, try again...Pewitt's girls came in first!!!!!! I'd call that dominating!! From the Texarkana Gazette: "The Lady Brahmas were never seriously challenged, piling up 187 points." "Paul Pewitts girls also won six events, two by senior standout Erin Huckabay, who posted a career-best time in the 100 meter hurdles at 14.49. She also prevailed in the high jump with a leap of 5 feet." "The Lady Brahmas won both the 400 and 800 relays."
PurpleFreddy
Hopefully, Huckaby will return to the same form as a sophomore year and get back to state in the 100 hurdles. She is a monster athlete. I got to meet her at the state meet back in 2005.
