SS plays mostly at home this year in district...they play MP, T High and Paris all in SS...the only two games they have away are Lindale and NL...so thats good

hmm...should be a good game...Paris has been inconsistant IMO, so i really dont know...as for Lindale, they looked good in pre-season last year too...so i'm jus gonna hafta wait and see...but for now im going with paris

yea...i would love to see NL upset T High at home opening week of district...that would really make the 11-4A Race crazy..

After Sulphur Springs suffered a terrible 2-8 season last year, who woulda thought they'd be going into district at 4-1 and with the best record in the district?

ss was also missing one of their top tacklers on the defense...Tyler Francis has been out sick all week

radio didnt hardly give any stats..but heres what i have ...and this is unofficial all i heard was that rollison went 28 of 34 for 330 yards, and in 5 games he's somewhere between 1,800 and 1,900 yds. thats all i know until i get the paper on sunday....congrats to the wildcats for going 4-1!! next up, Mount Pleasant in SS

yea i agree the line has made a HUUUUUGE difference...but even at the times the line doesnt completely hold and somebody gets through, he is breaking tackles left and right...he is very VERY good with his feet IMO and is stonger than he looks..im not trying to say he is the reason for the success SS has been having at all...they are doin it as a team...but he sure is making an impact on the team..he's just flat out a playmaker Ohh i forgot to mention earlier....Sulphur Springs is averaging the type of points-per-game that they did back in the early 90's...back when they were a powerhouse...thats gotta be givin those kids some confidence

In the Sulphur Springs News Telegram today there was an article talking about Rollison..he has already in the 4 games this season passed for 116-of-166 (70%)..1,401 yards, and 14 td passes which puts him among the top 5 SSHS single-season passers along with Logan Turner(SMU) and Ryan Henry (Belhaven College) In his 2 years on varsity(only starting the last couple of games last season) he has already passed for 2,441 career yards which makes his 4th all-time at SSHS behind Logan Turner's 4,473..Ryan Henry's 3,347 and the 1979 to 1981 SS qb Jordan Stanley. Rollison still has 6 games left in the season (unless they make playoffs) and then one more season as qb for the wildcats. So I'm sure he'll be making his mark on the SS record books.
