Typical j.t fan not looking out for the conference but for personal feelings and heres my examples of what I mean: Some Texas fans wanting BCG gone because they realize he is a MAJOR coach that could hurt UT while most A&M fans including Acie Law want Durant to stay because we realize it will be better for basketball in the state of Texas, the Big 12 and the NCAA. Just as j.t fans love it when REL is having a down year in ANY sport. while Lee fans hate beating the stuff outta the lions and want them to regain some power so that the rivalry can be fun instead of blowouts every year.

Ummmm the Board of Regents does not decide what to pay him...yes they have to approve it but they are approving what BCG and the AD have already agreed to. And yes you are right his past has a lot of moves in there but all those moves were made to get somewhere that he felt like he could win a championship as a Head Coach. This is only his second head coaching job and I doubt he felt like he could win an NCAA Championship at UTEP. I hope he thinks he can win one at TAMU because that is the only thing that will keep him here....NOT MONEY!!!

BCG is not holding out on anyone....he and the AD have already come to terms on a new contract several days ago and it is just waiting to be approved by the Board of Regents this week. BCG has stated to people close to him that he DOES NOT want to be the highest paid coach in the Big 12, so why in the world would he be holdong out on A&M to give him more money.

I hope your prediction is correct but let's think about this for a minute. D. Sloan is going to have to really step up to replace Acie Law, I think this can be done but will not be easy. A&M has the recruits and some kids on the bench that we have not seen much of but AK and Marlon were HUGE pieces to or teams puzzle last year and will be harder to replace than many people are giving credit for. All that being said, I think A&M could have another great team this year but it will all depend on who steps up to fill in the shoes of the departed.

Again it's not about the money look at his track record before you start talking about something you obviously know nothing about!! And he's not saying he's staying at A&M because he does not feel he needs to make a statement since he has not been offered anywhere else......jeez you people are killing me.
