your right. not saying tatum did not get any better. you played gilmer 9 game ago? with a new starting quarterback. how many starters did gilmer have back? not very many. they played in the toughest district in 3A and got second place to a carthage team that will have a good chance to 3 peat. they have gotten alot better and beat a very good L-E team, along with a good Henderson team, both of whom would beat Tatum.

once again you both fail to read previous posts. the whole reason gilmer was mentioned was because someone was trying to compare the previous matchups. gilmer is a different team is all i said. and i also mentioned that daingerfield would also get beat by gilmer, just as tatum would if they were to play again.

i didnt imply that they had gotten any younger. They were a young team coming into the season. quit over analyzing things and you might understand what i say the first time. They had to make changes coming into the season. Now that they have gotten everything flowing they are a completely different team and would easily handle your eagles just as they would the tigers.

and you obviously havent seen daingerfield. they have a long list of divison 1 recruits. and now days thats what colleges look for is size. a 6-7' 6-8' ish receiver/ corner in Garrett. two division one lineman. one on offense and one on defense( who are big in size). one of the most sought after linebackers in the country in Edmond. whats he like 6-3'? 230? and as far as teams with speed... they are the fastest overall team besides L-E, and Carthage ive seen this year. yes they may not have the talent at the RB position that they have had in the past. But their running back is still a good back. Your comparing him to a Koko which was among the best in East Texas the past few years. If tatum were to play Gilmer again it would not be the same story. Gilmer had a young team and had to make a few changes. Now they are clicking on all cylinders and are a force to be reckoned with. You can't really use the Gilmer game as a comparison this late into the season.

not gonna waste my time going to celina/ lovejoy. heard the qb for lovejoy is kicked off the team. if so i dont see the game being close because he is a big part of their team. along with the other two seniors kicked off. ill probably be at lindale/ henderson. and gilmer is gonna be a BIG BIG blowout! :coolball: lol goodluck to all teams.
