That's only because he was exiled to aLDavis's raiders who were the worst team in the NFL for much of his career. He was the most dynamic and versatile RB in the draft coming out of Arkansas. If he had been on a decent team he would have been a perennial all pro and potential HOF back.

Texas has been there before over and over, from conference championships to national titles. When was the last time A&M won any kind of a championship? A&M is a wanna be Texas equal that has yet to prove anything. They have a couple of decent seasons and homers like you think that suddenly they are the better program, it just never materializes. Texas expects to win championships, aggy thinks they might compete some time in the near future but they never get over the hump. Aggy jumps to the SEC and all of a sudden the homers think conference association makes them better without ever proving it on the field. Enjoy your little run while it lasts, aggy will come down to earth and once again face reality ... UT has been and always will be the premier football program in Texas.

Texas will compete for the Big 12 title a lot sooner than aggy will compete for the SEC title, if ever ... tru storie :P Texas HS recruits will figure this out pretty soon ......

If A&M keeps floundering in the SEC and continues to play 3rd or 4th fiddle to Alabama, LSU, Auburn and others I think the recruiting advantage will swing back toward Texas. Sooner or later aggy has to show they can win a championship or the kids will begin to realize that A&M is still a pretender even if they jumped ship out of the Big 12. I don't see aggy winning any SEC championship anytime soon ....
