Van loses to Spring Hill. Canton lost to Edgewood. Eustace barely beat Edgewood. Kemp struggling to find a win. Wills Point struggling to find a win. gamewatcher63 Posted September 27, 2008 Share Posted September 27, 2008 It's 14AAA I believe, and MIN. needs to regroup on thier bye week. First QTR was'nt bad at all or the first half, 7-0 MV. But the 2ND half MIN was just flat. MV came out running in the I formation and ran up the middle the rest of the game. Work hard guys on your week off and remember everyone starts 0-0 in district. Sorry 14AAA, Edgewood-Eustace score makes it worse. Mt Vernon has finished last in 16AAA the last two years and has beaten Mineola 28-7, 21-7 and 35-6 last three years. 14AAA will be wide open and know one seems to want to esablish themselves as the frontrunner. 16AAA (PG beat NL and LE beat Paris) and 17AAA is proving to be the top two districts by far in East Texas AAA- bottom of these two districts could win some of these other districts. Offense was terrible, defense was just on the field waaaay too long. The offense kept giving SH a short field to work with and the defense could only do so much. Maybe they can regroup during the bye week and get some people healthy and figure out whats happened to the offense. They have 9 turnovers in the last two games. He is always commenting about how 10-3A is weak and how tough 16-3A is because Celina plays one of the top Div II team from 10-3A in the first round of playoffs and their regional match-up could come from14-3A or 16-3A.
