  1. Lobos need to come out and make a statement to start the 2nd half. Put em away early.
  2. Reminder, game is on Longview game day and now on TexanLive as well.
  3. Going into Game 13... 1) Hallsville 12-0 (33-5) 2) Longview 9-3 (23-12) 3) Whitehouse 8-4 (30-12) 4) Texas High 7-5 (29-10) 5) Tyler 5-7 (12-29) 6) Marshall 4-8 (22-18) 7) Pine Tree 1-11 (8-25) 8. Mount Pleasant 1-11 (2-30)
  4. Agreed. Just can't see Lufkin going into Lancaster and pulling out a W. I'd feel better if it was at Abe, but even then, the last two years they've shown that that doesn't really matter either.
  5. Lobos just need to not turn the ball over, which we have a combined 8 turnovers in our two losses at McKinney ISD Stadium, and control the penalties. Do that, and Longview wins walking away.

  8. Personally would give Lancaster that nod. Outside of the one 5 turnover game by the Lobos, Longview has outscored McKinney North 104-17 in the other two meetings lol. But regardless, Lobos have clearly struggled inside McKinney ISD Stadium. Definitely have to come to play. Turnovers will be key. North seems to start hot before tempering off, so with standing the early surge by the Bulldogs and then go to work. Longview should win, but like you said, anything is possible...especially in a sloppy game.

  10. Will get the rest of the full thread up on Sunday. Basically the last thing stopping Longview from claiming the district crown.

  12. Any type of momentum Lancaster would get, there would instantly be a flag on them. Including on that 4th down in overtime that LT stopped. Last two weeks, I know DCTF will say Forney has shown themselves but their image...to me...has completely faded. I was worried bout them going into that place, now I know it's not because of their team ability but it's their ability in getting those refs to call whatever they need when they need it.
  13. North had one first down the entire night. Ugly stuff on that field tonight. Great job by King in managing the second half to get out of there quick.
  14. This is JV football we’re playing against. How did Lp struggle with them…
