  1. Heck yeah!! I'm sure I have some pine needles under my wiper blades. I'd be willing somebody on the football team at least 50 bucks to "dig" out!!!!
  2. Oh yeah--tuck did one heck of a job. Wow this list could just go on and on
  3. Congrats bulldogs!!! We are all very proud of you. Last yr, we cried now this year we are crying again--only tears of joy!!!! I want to say when it comes to MVPs Chapel Hill has waaaaaaaay more than two, Moorehead, Z-ro, weeks,Onwuzu, Garcia, Allen, Clark, and kinkade just to name a few.. Great season guys. Can you all Just go to the same college so we can just keep watching u play? Lol.
  4. Wishful thinking---sorry we beat y'all but u were in our way of an undefeated season. Better luck next year, we will the ones w a young team!!!
  5. I heard they were not tailgaiting when the lot wasn't opening til 5 but now that it's opening at 3--I think some are still planning on pre-game festivities!!
  6. Well now that's all cleared up-- I think I like the "cupcake" thing.. You can put that on myy defib!!!!! quote name='FridayNiteLights' timestamp='1323042536' post='1656269'] Hey there Cupcake!! Lets get the Donkey Stomping issue out first. Henderson never said they were gonna Donkey Stomp anyone. Henderson was being told not to show up at Jerrys World last yr. because CHAPEL HILL was going to Donkey Stomp them. But then again thats why they PLAY the game on the field instead of on paper. Yall have awesome Selective memory ability.. Now in reference to the game friday, Go take a look at my post on the Alvarado Henderson Thread. I posted it there and I will tell you again they BEAT us up and down that field. Yes I know that yall made it and Congratulations. If CH and Alvarado both play a mistake free game I honestly see it going into Overtime. But If CH doesnt score on each Possession and has a turnover, Alvarado will capitalize on it and win this game with long time consuming drives. Like I said Good Luck to both Teams they are playing in Jerry's World for the Title. Dont get any better than that..... Didnt know about the basketball rally. Cant make it though cause Im on my way to NY to pick up 2500 AED Defibrillator's. Was told to carry them to Jerrys World for the game this week. Apparently Jerry Jones has heard rumor of CH taking these games down to the wire winning them in the final moments of the game. So to be on the safe side he wants all the Defib's he can get in case the Cardiac Gang flatlines........
  7. Unclejohn-- ur right. I appreciate all the h-town supporters. Ran into a couple of ppl from Henderson in town and they wished us well.. Fridaynight just struck a nerve.
  8. Unclejohn-- ur right. I appreciate all the h-town supporters. Ran into a couple of ppl from Henderson in town and they wished us well.. Fridaynight just struck a nerve.
  9. Hey Friday---- "donkey stomping". Is what alvarado handed y'all Friday!!!! If you call 1and I mean 1 touchdown a donkey stomping then Henderson suffered from mule a$$ kicking on Friday. And if u actually read any of the CH posts--we r aware that alvarado just might win this game but at least we made it!!!!!!! When you finish with that cowboy game I hear Henderson is having a community wide basket-ball blowing up rally til midnight, maybe u can join in on the fun!!!!!!!
  10. Lilhood...I'm ashamed of u. "pulling for em but voting against em". I know they have had some really big struggles these last 3 weeks and some r self-inflicted wounds, but they have held on D and scored on O when we needed it most!!! I don't really like the heart stopping moments---I would much rather roll into the next game with a comfortable lead, but hey--these boys want this and they have proven over and over and over they will NOT stop fighting til the last whistle blows!!!!!! Bulldogs bring home the gold
  11. I hope it was a long sad drive home for all those who left with 2 min remaing only to wake up this morning to find out you missed the best bulldog football of the night!!!!!
  12. I wasn't at the game--however at the Gilmer game isn't no 3 the one that got so aggresive that his own teammates gave him a sideline break to get his emotions in tack? Do we have a common denominator in Henderson's unsportsmanlike conduct? Maybe coach meeks should be addressing acceptable behavior. It is important in Basketball too!!! uote name='Hlion4ever' timestamp='1322929708' post='1655040'] No I had just walked on the field before it started... the play was whistled dead and # 12 from Alvarado hit #3.....I was there trust me.. Now that being said I don't like what our players done after that totally uncalled for 100%.... The player from Henderson that started hitting with his helmet should have been dealt with by authorities..Believe me I was 5 yards from it....IT GOT UGLY... I re- posted this just in case someone did not see it the first time....
  13. [i may not have been reporting on smoaky, but just for the record---I have been to every home game andost away game (sometimes on Thursday and back on Fridays) since 2003. So don't be so quick to assume that just because we r late to get on smoaky that we r all band wagoners, but I do agree about being inconsiderate of "the tried and true football fans" at the state game! Some just came to get a chance to c jerry's world for 10 dollars--- and for those ppl I say buy a tour pass on Wednesday and get out of our way so we can make some NOISE!!!!!!!quote name=LilHoodRat' timestamp='1322523069' post='1650146] +1 I just want to ask these folks where they were at back in the late 90's early 2000's when CH consistently lost. And in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, where were these fans when the team was losing in the early rounds of the playoffs. It's easy to suppost a team that is playing in the title game, but come out against WW the first game of the year, when it is miserably hot. Come out against Hallsville, when the dogs have to fight against the adversity of playing without 6 starters. Come out agaisnt Lindale, WH, Carthage, Bullard for homecoming, Rusk for senior night, and al the other games in between.
  14. #33 definitely plays for the right team--snakes in the grass.. He slithers around looking to bite someone on the ankle ABSOLUTELY nothing in common w our #52--stands proudly defending his territory. He is a great young man with a humble spirit, kind heart, who just so happens to have been blessed with the ability to be an athlete. Football would benefit greatly w more players of his caliber on and off the field.. I'm glad 33 got sent home---as for the rest of his team--job well done, good fight last night
  15. I am ready to leave also and got told I was crazy so I'm pacing the floor til 1:00 but then all bets r off!!!:)
  16. I'm so glad I'm just a fan. The further along we go, the more butterflies I get on Fridays. Praying our boys are calm, cool, and collected !!! Let's go bulldogs. We are very proud of all of you!!!!!!
  17. +1. I wasn't gonna say anything and now I don't have too!!! As much as I would like to see Celina win this one--I really want a re-match for our boys. They r truly focused, but taking it one game at a time!! Good luck to both teams.. Will someone keep us posted on the game
  18. Nice article---wish this game was played on sat so I catch this one after the chapel hill game on Friday. Good luck to both teams---hope to b seeing one of ya n 2 wks!!!! Class 3A Division I Region II Final Celina (11-0) vs. Henderson (10-2) Friday 6:00pm Memorial Stadium, Mesquite: This is about as intriguing matchup as you'll see anywhere in the state. Celina who is among the most decorated programs in the state, hooking up with defending state champion Henderson. Celina has a reputation of being one of the most physically dominant teams in the state and why not with guys up front like Jake Raulerson leading the way. The Bobcats also are fielding maybe their fastest team ever so there is hope they'll be able to keep up with one of the beasts from the east who we all know will bring plenty of speed to the party. Celina a week ago exacted some revenge on Lovejoy with a 37-17 win over the Leopards. Freshman QB Nathan Elliot continued to show he's ready for the big stage as he accounted for 305 total yards and all five Celina touchdowns in the win. Elliot will need to be a factor once again this week as senior RB Jammarick Simmons is still not 100%. Henderson has rolled through two good teams to open the playoffs, the Lions who appear to be peaking at the right time made quick work of a Lindale squad that bears a lot of similarities to Celina last week 56-20. The Lions ground game had a big night putting up 438 yards on Lindale led by Jay O'Neal who ran for 181 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. The key for Henderson will be their passing game, Celina will look shut the Lions ground game down so QB Del Barnes and WR LaMarcus Brown will need to be in sync and ready to make Celina pay for being over aggressive. Henderson's defensive line has at times struggled against power running attacks so that matchup will be one to watch. Great contrasting styles in this one, great tradition and two great teams. You can't ask for anything better. Stepp's Pick: Henderson by 4
  19. We call those "pity points". That way we don't accussed of running up the score!!! Hahaha. Seriously, I was a little impressed when they slipped those in on us.
  20. I thought this was about having fun!!!! This is high school football.. Everybody loves their team there is nothing wrong with thinking ur team is better than the other one. Running ur mouth is great!! IMO not one person on smoaky has ever wished illness or injury on any of these teams(players, coaches, schools, band, cheerleaders, drillteams, etc.) we all want our team to win and occassionally take satisfaction in another team losing but IMO we all want these years to be memorable for our youngsters... So lighten up and enjoy the smack and don't pass on the crow when it's ur turn!!!
  21. Is this ur prediction for the end of the first quarter???? Lol
