Looking at this link the bears will have to put pressure on their Qb, for sure.

Cooper Jones is a good player... For the UNT Mean Green. He graduated from Lone Oak last year. The head coaches son, Lasseter, takes the majority of the snaps this year.

Would b alittle more if still had that qb n that video clip. Truthfully dont know much about dekalb, but obviously very good to earn the first round bye, im just playin favorites. LO hasnt looked as good as years past but made it in, mildred put the beating on them though.

Well, we are getting closer. The only good thing about the bye is that we are getting everyone healthy again. We had 2 starters and a kid who gets a lot of playing time out for the Pewitt game, as well as another starter who only saw limited time against Pewitt, all due to injuries or illness. Out of those 4 kids, we will have 3 of them back at full strength for Lone Oak. The 4th kid was one of our linebackers....he tore his ACL, MCL and LCL against Rivercrest and is out for the season. He will be missed for the playoffs, but will be there cheering his teammates on (hopefully not too close to the sidelines like against Pewitt....LOL).

The kids got to practice on turf a little yesterday. They are rip-roaring and ready to go, as are the DeKalb fans. Hurry up Friday!!
