I've seen some extremely disappointing week 1's, so I'm definitely going to keep an open mind tonight haha.

2 more days, boys and girls. I gotta say, I'm anxious. I didn't get to to go the first scrimmage because they swapped dates up on me, and I had to miss the 2nd for a last "before football season starts and I lose you till next year" date - and said goodbye to my family.

I would probably entertain coming to watch, but I've never been to Elysian Fields so I wanna go check that out.

Nobody in Atlanta even cares about the team down the road. It's when people from there start saying "OH we'd beat Atlanta this year - we're undefeated in pre-discrict!" Don't just throw out the decent schools in the district lol. QC played Elysian Fields, whom you're ridiculing us now for putting on our schedule. How'd that turn out?

I highly doubt the pointing out of scheduling flaws goes unwarranted.

The documentary was great. Actually made me see Johnny Football in a different light. I never really cared for him before. I thought that it did shed a little negative light on A&M, just in the fact that they marketed him so highly and never dared to take him off the field. But, in the same sense, who would in that day and age? He was so valuable to the university. What'd they say his jersey auctioned off for?

Melissa going to get welcomed into their new stadium with a big L. Crazy stuff. Just a few years ago, they were in Atlanta's division. Wild how fast that place is growing.

In short - No. I can remember a few years ago when Carthage barely stayed up in D1, and all the Carthage faithful were sighing with relief. "Thank goodness we didn't drop down." Well - I said it then, and I'll say it again. Nobody was happier than the D2 schools at that time. It's obvious why.
