Per the record book, this is Timpson's 1,000th game!  How fitting it is vs. their arch rival Garrison.

Also, in all of the games I've looked at for different programs, it's strange that these two have never tied. Timpson has 37 ties and Garrison 13, but not once against each other in the 67 times they've played is there 1 tie.  I found that interesting.

I love me some high school football. lol  And a good rivalry........especially when the stakes are high and you have 2 state-ranked undefeated teams going at it.  Days like this are when I kind of wish all schools were actually in school today.  I get the Fridays off thing (and Alto is doing it for the first time this year), but the kids miss out on an actual GAME DAY feeling where all day long everyone is just together and pumped and you can feel it in the hallways and with the teachers, players, cheer, coaches, band, EVERYONE just hyped and not wanting to do a dang thing education-wise. LOL
