Acewell
What is Celina's current enrollment? I tried to respond to a post from 1969 but it wouldn't let me.

It'll definitely be higher than that, but probably will not have eclipsed the 1,000-student mark quite yet. Celina will for sure be Div. I next realignment, unless the number goes way up. I think the Bobcats are 4A Div. I for the next two alignments, and after that, I'd be shocked if they're not 5A Div. II.
d0tc0m
Funny to see this post resurrected from 2005. Those were good times for the orange and white.

Wow. That's insane. I graduated from Celina in May 2005. The town population then was around 2,500 and I remember that being kind of a big deal. BlackShirtD
I don’t see Celina moving up.  The number will go up and my guess it will go up about 75 - 90 kids on the top end.
Texski
A large part of the southern part of Celina is in Prosper ISD, so even though Celina is growing many of those students will not attend Celina HS. Like dotcom stated above I think it will be at least 5 years until Celina moves up to 5A.
