I'm a WOS fan and this year isn't a typical WOS team. Way too young to puff the chest out. No QB play, 4 complete passes all game ( they run a spread offense for crying out loud), missed tackles that went for TD's. They just aren't that good this year and Newton took advantage of that. It showed in the Nederland game as well (5 turnovers). They may get better late in the year and make a run, but unlikely. Don't put too much stock into beating WOS this year.
