Pretty impressive especially how this is supposedly one of the “ worst “ Gilmer teams. Couldn’t tell you anything about Bellville but hopefully they get rolled. Will enjoy watching this is person and hopefully better showing.

oh yes thank you again bucks for beating that red team in panola county.

Bellville is just lucky to be in the presence of Gilmer… Bellville doesn’t stand a chance to stop the the greatest show on turf… all Bellville does is run the ball… they haven’t played anyone…

In all seriousness Gilmer has an amazing team and will be a tough hurdle for Bellville. Yes Gilmer has more speed and athleticism than Bellville but so did Silsbee and Jasper (Yes I know Gilmer is better than those two teams) Best of luck to Gilmer and safe travels to all the fans

Well, Bellville somehow managed to be 15-0 just running the ball. Imagine that! Gilmer D will need to play the best 4 quarters they've ever played or Bellville will control the clock for 4 quarters.

Watched a couple of the Bellville games and they are very disciplined. That D line is stout. But also that D does not look that fast overall. Wimberley QB is not very fast and still was able to move the ball well. If we can get our playmaker in space I like our chances. This is a very interesting match-up. Can't wait for Friday to get here.

Gilmer is in the State Final so that means they are deserving and have a chance, but it is hard to see a scenario where they can stay in the game with Bellville. Gilmer has tremendous speed but nothing near the skill level of Drelon Miller and Silsbee. DJ Sanders will likely have a field day with no one in opposition.

On defense, Gilmer is borderline horrible, and they have been completely run off the field in multiple games this year. Gilmer also has no one in the same galaxy with TyAnthony Smith to create problems for the Bellville offense.

It is difficult to see how Gilmer wins this game but the match is not decided in forums. That is why they play the game. Hoping for a great game.

Will all the folks from backwoods Bellville stop using the Silsbee game as ANYTHING; literally a 1 trick pony, that's it, zilch. Nothing more, nothing less 🤣

It's hard to see a scenario that Bellville scores enough to beat Gilmer! #bEASTtx

Yep, Silsbee loaded up with D1 skill players. BV top scoring team in the state. BV top defense in the state. Is what it is.

Should be a great game! Both teams are well coached and disciplined. On the topic of Belleville’s defense it should be noted that prior to starting the playoffs they played NO ONE w/ an above .500 record. Gilmer faced Chapel hill, Kilgore, Paris, Lindale, Pleasant Grove, and Carthage. Not the same strength of schedule to say the least.

Agree 100% on the pre playoff schedule. Gilmer defense looked like they were outmatched with some teams running all over them.

Yes, our young defensive linemen would often be standing straight up, watching the play and after the play look around, bewildered, like what happened.  Things finally clicked and they now understand their assignments.  Much different defense now.  Should be a good battle between both teams on Friday.

If Gilmer forces touches to one player it’ll be a tight game.  If they spread the ball…..pinball like numbers

Pulling for Gilmer in this one. This will be a good game. Gilmer will score some points for sure but I believe that Bellville will run the ball successfully against Gilmer. I think Bellvilles defense will be able to force Gilmer to punt two or three times but I see Bellville scoring on every drive unless they have some turnovers. Good luck to both teams.
